Yes!
How often are we as parents made to feel guilty for giving needed love, time, and attention to our spouses and other children because the affected child needs so much? But how often is this pointed out? Here's one of the few examples I've seen:

On a related note, the *second* most difficult type of professional for me to work with is the one who won't listen because she knows it all. She's earned a degree and read (or written) all these books, and I'm *only* a parent. The *MOST* difficult is the therapy junkie who has turned her child's disability into a hobby, and then a career. She won't believe your child isn't just like hers, and she knows best because she is a parent AND a professional. (And no, I'm not talking about you, Penny. )
Glad you're not talking about me, Papa Bear! :)
