Connecting families with resources and resources with families. I blog about autism intervention from a developmental perspective while homeschooling.
I learned when I had my hair done at the salon when it was long. Can I describe it? I'll try: You start the curling iron near the scalp, twist; when you begin, the length is hanging straight beneath the barrel, untouched, and you begin gently, slowly squeezing/opening the wand enough to move the iron out and down a little in one movement, twisting/curling/wrapping the hair around the barrel of the curling iron. The hair near the scalp is on the hot barrel first and gets several twists on it as you slide down toward the ends; the ends are the last bit to get curled.
