I have been sick all week, with what began with fatigue plus a sore throat and painful cough, and now I'm left w/ the fatigue and cough. No big fever. No, I haven't been to the doctor. Is it H1N1? I have no idea. But I've felt like crap all week. The sun came out today, and I headed out to sit in it for a few minutes, hoping to rev up some Vitamin D and antioxidants from the sun.
Since I'm on a bird watching kick, I took my camera with me.
Problem is, I can't find any of my field guides (I know we have three of them, and I cannot find even one! Those of you who know me in real life will not find that surprising.)
What are all of these birds? Help!
Finches, maybe???
These are unusual -- I don't see them often.

I think that is a female goldfinch. Did the other one have a black cap?
Yes, you have a black-capped chickadee at your feeder.
The tiny bird on the ground is a chipping sparrow. We have tons of those. They usually hang out on the ground in little flocks. (Bird behavior is a big clue to identify the LBBs--little brown blobs.)
LOVE THE BIRD PICTURES!!!
