Onset of Gluten Intolerance Related to a Virus?

This article from Finland is interesting. "Recent research findings indicate a possible connection between virus infections, the immune system and the onset of gluten intolerance, also known as coeliac disease."

I watched a child regress into autism (and gluten intolerance) following a chicken pox vaccine. I've always thought there was a relationship between the two. I wonder if the sore throat thing that we have a lot is related to chicken pox, and the doctor says that my theory may be right, but there's no way to test for it.

Thanks! I'm going to forward this article to my neighbor who developed celiac disease in his 70s!
